Raising a Valley of Dry Bones.

I walked through the valley of the shadow of death,

The air was thick with dread, the land parched and dead,

The ground was dry and cracked beside the remains of a riverbed.

I stepped between what seemed like an infinite number of dry bones,

Lifeless specters of a lost and forgotten army, littering the path ahead.

Though the darkness pressed in around me, still a light was clear to see,

A word of hope spoken into the night brought life to my sight,

Before my eyes these bones revived, standing in fulfillment of prophecy.

I saw the grave bow before the rising sun offering up its keys,

This land will live,

The Spirit of God will give,

The promise of everlasting victory.
