To purchase a painting or to request a quote:

2. Click the “Buy This Painting” or “Request a Quote” button to submit a purchase or commission request. Please include the name of the painting you are interested in.
   

3. Payment will be set up to include shipping which is to be determined for purchases under $2500. For commission work, I require a 50% deposit.

4. I will connect with you at your preferred contact method to answer any questions and ensure you the best art purchasing experience.

5. I build a custom insulated box or frame for each painting to ensure its safety and security on its big trip to its new forever home.

   If you are within driving distance of Murfreesboro, TN you are welcome to come pick up your piece at my studio, just specify in the message portion of the contact page and I will get in touch with you to schedule a date and time.

Is the artwork ready to hang or does it need a frame?

Ready to hang. All of my artwork unless otherwise specified is created on Gallery Wrapped canvas frames with 2” frame sides. (See picture below for ex.) This means that the canvas has been stretched over the frame and sides being stapled to the back. I paint the sides to match and complete the painting. The frame itself can be used to hang the artwork but for everything over 12x12” I install hangwire to the back of the painting for easy hanging.

If you would like your artwork framed I can arrange to have it framed for you for an additional cost which would also affect the weight and cost of shipping. Or you may prefer to have it framed once you receive it at which time I can work with you to recommend local framing companies if you would like.

How do I care for my artwork?

Protective finishes/coatings?

I generally apply a Satin varnish protective coating over the finished painting to protect the artwork and allow easier care and cleaning. I also offer to use a thick High Gloss resin that covers the face and sides. Both allow for easy care and cleaning of the artwork but I advise carefully cleaning those having the satin coating with a dry soft cloth to remove dust. The high gloss resin is easy to clean like glass using glass cleaner or similar agents.

The high gloss resin coating will increase the cost of the artwork as the materials are much more costly and the time/work of the application process is greater than simply spraying a varnish. But the end result is much more desirable as the resin will not only better protect the art over time but will deepen and embellish the colors of the art.

How much will Delivery and Shipping cost?

Shipping will depend on the size and location and at this time I do not offer any flat rates for orders under $2500. I will generate a quote for shipping as soon as I have received a purchase or commission request. For orders over $2500 shipping will be included if shipped within the US.

Do you sell prints of your artwork?

Yes I currently have prints of selected artwork available through the website via the Prints tab and I am working to add to the current selection. I do not have high-quality captures of most of my older artwork and so prints for those will not be available. Limited giclee prints on canvas will be listed on the site when available or I can have them created upon request.

Commission Work

I will schedule a meeting with you to discuss the details of the design, the materials to be used, the placement of the artwork, a time frame for completion and determine what protective finish will be used. I include a poem with each painting that will deepen the interpretation and experience of your art. If desired, I offer the service of prayer asking God for a picture and word for you or the person the artwork will be painted for. It will help me to have a better idea if you provide pictures of the area you want to hang your artwork so I can establish a color palette. I can create a digital placement of the artwork in your space using the pictures you provide me of the wall spaces you plan on hanging your art. This way you can see exactly what a similar piece of art will look like in the wall space you want to fill.

I require a non-refundable 50% deposit to start commission work. Once a deposit has been received I will purchase the canvas and materials to start your project. I can send you pictures and videos of the creation progress during or after completion. Each art piece will include a certificate of authenticity.

How is the artwork packaged for shipping?

I build a custom box around artwork 48 x 48” or less using industrial 2” foam board with a thick cardboard outer layer.

For artwork over 4x4’ I will build a custom crate using foam and wood.
