This is actually one of my first paintings created around 2004. I used to browse the art magazines in Barnes and Noble back then before the internet was what it is today, and I saw an artist who used texture to create her work. That set me on a whole new path and has since defined almost all my later artwork. This is either the second or third painting I used texture to create and unintentionally it glows under a black light because of the neon pastels I used.
