Ms Jellyfish is a stunner, quite literally. Getting her float on in the great wide open blue.

She is just as beautiful, if not more in the dark. You might say she has a glowing personality!

The last of three in a sea creature series I was commissioned to do as a result of the butterfly “Old For New” painting.

By request, I used the same color scheme and creation process for Ms. Jellyfish as the other two although this one had to glow in the dark. It’s a jellyfish! I have always been fascinated by jellyfish as far back as I can remember. I remember the first time seeing them in a large aquarium as a kid, I was captivated by the vibrant glowing colors and clear ghostlike anatomies. They reminded me of angels floating in the water. I wanted to bring the visual I have in my mind’s eye to life on canvas, especially the glowing ghostlike frame. This is why out of the three in the series added phosphorescent to this painting to make Ms. Jelly glow in the dark!
