Infinity Dress

Forever I am. When I close my eyes, I do not fail to see.

I see all that has made me who I am today and making me who I am tomorrow.

The light within allows no dwelling of darkness.

I am made for eternity and my thoughts are the seeds of immortality.

The freedom of abstract art is liberating. I am a perfectionist by nature and I often find myself unsatisfied with my work as I try to perfect it. My eyes will need a break for weeks sometimes until I can appreciate my own art. It’s a great strength and at the same time one of my greatest weaknesses that my eyes are drawn to imperfections. When I create work like this one though, I can enjoy it personally on another level because the spontaneous and random orchestration of the work presents a fresh and unperfected scene for my eyes to discover rather than dissect. This is one of the primary reasons I tend to create abstract art when its my own free time to create.
