The blues I used in this painting are probably my favorite colors. I say probably because I really don’t have a favorite color. I guess Im wierd like that. I don’t really have a favorite anything. There have been seasons I become slightly obsessed with a certain something because I just heard it, tasted it or started learning how to do it. But in all my life I haven’t had any staples that last more than just a season.

I started painting with acrylics and love how manageable they are to use. But once I discovered the vibrance of oil colors I fell in love. I would probably stick to oil paints if they were not such a pain to clean up and they didn’t take so long to dry.
