“Adrift”

12 x 12”

Texture, acrylics and phosphorescent gels on canvas covered in a high gloss resin.

Displayed under a black light:

This was painted for my first gallery exhibition in Redlands, CA where it sold to a fantastic couple that I met there on my launch night.

One of my favorite things to do is gaze up at the stars while up in the mountains or out at sea where you are far from the city lights. I painted this with the memory of looking up at the stars while on a cruise out in the middle of the Caribbean. The sky was clear, the night was dark and the stars seemed to go on forever and ever.
